Sascha Kowalski (GER)

"There is no right or wrong. The run is yours. Do as you please."

Sascha started running when he turned 30 back in 2012. He just got back to Germany from his 2 yr long trip around the world including more “luggage” as when he left. Due to his overweight he started to stumble around the block. Doing runs for 3-4k just to get back in shape. As he was losing weight his runs got longer and by finishing his first Marathon only 9 month after getting started he was hooked for good.

Followed by several Marathons Sascha got the most fun out of running Ultras since 2014 though. Highlights were his first flat 100k on asphalt, the Zugspitz-Ultra 100k, the Transalpine Run and finally the CCC 100k. Chasing times in the Street of Berlin or running Mountains with the maximum amount of fun while taking loads of pictures are equal to him. There is no right or wrong. The run is yours. Do as you please.
