Zum 10-jährigen Jubiläum bringen wir zehn eurer liebsten vergangenen Designs zurück. Neu interpretiert im zeitlosen Willpower-Stil ist jedes Shirt zugleich eine Hommage an unsere Anfänge und ein Symbol für die Community, die wir gemeinsam aufgebaut haben.

Run And Rise Above

The "Run And Rise Above" design was first released in 2018. After three different versions, the definitive artwork emerged through Chris Boegle. With its clean lettering encircling the torch – our timeless symbol of Willpower – it became one of the clearest and most powerful statements in our history.

Hold Your Ground

The “Hold Your Ground” design was originally inspired by the legendary hardcore band Gorilla Biscuits. Carrying the spirit of self-determination, courage, and resistance, it was created for Willpower by our animal expert Don Schuuring. First appearing in the “Street Justice” collection, and later on a Straight Edge T-shirt, it has remained one of our most outspoken statements.

I Against I

The "I Against I" design was inspired by the iconic song and album title of the highly influential hardcore punk band Bad Brains. Few slogans capture the essence of running so precisely: the fight with no one but yourself. Created in 2021 by Don Schuuring, its distinctive sword artwork appeared in several versions, including the memorable “True Blue Edition.”

Eat Well – Run Clean – Stay Clear

The "Eat Well – Run Clean – Stay Clear" design first appeared in 2020 as part of the inaugural “Poison Free Running” drop. More than a slogan, it carried a clear message: running joy and progress begin with what we consume. By celebrating mindful nutrition and rejecting performance-enhancing or pain-killing drugs, it stood out as a bold statement against hobby-athlete doping. Don Schuuring brought the idea to life with the furious running apple crushing a syringe – a striking symbol that made this design unforgettable.

Mind – Soul – Heart

The "Mind – Soul – Heart" design emerged in 2020 as a standalone piece, built entirely around words rather than imagery. Its full phrase — “An Athlete’s Mind, A Fighter’s Soul, A Lover’s Heart” — captured the deeper layers of passion that define us beyond running. With its raw simplicity and uncompromising strength, Don Schuuring created a statement that continues to resonate far beyond the running world.

Run Proud

The legendary "Run Proud" design, created in 2016 by Jean-Paul Frijns, is one of our earliest and most defining works. With its classic college layout — reminiscent of a Youth Crew hardcore band — it carries a message far beyond style: running proud is not about being better, it’s about being true. It rejects elitism, rules, and ideals imposed from outside. To run proud means to guard the pure joy of movement, no matter the pace, the gear, or the running surface. In the end, it all comes down to what you carry in your heart when you put one foot in front of the other.

Alone in a Crowd

The "Alone in a Crowd" design, released in 2022 and created by Don Schuuring, takes its name from an overlooked hardcore band of the late ’80s. Much like their anthem “Is Anybody There?”, it speaks to those of us who never fully belong — especially not in the polished world of mainstream running. At a crowded marathon we may stand out, often the only one in a black Willpower shirt, yet we would not trade this sport for anything. With a subtle nod to Minor Threat’s Out of Step artwork, this design captures what it means to love running while walking a different path.

No Heart No Glory

The "No Heart No Glory" design, created by Chris Boegle in 2018, distills running down to its brutal truth. Every runner faces fear, weakness, and painful setbacks — victories are earned step by step, while losses come in an instant. In the end it’s not your legs that carry you forward, but your heart alone. Simple in style and uncompromising in message, this design remains one of the most straightforward statements in the Willpower universe.

Toe The Line

The "Toe The Line" design, created by Chris Boegle in 2016, belongs to the early days of Willpower. Carrying the self-identification “The Crew,” it stands for unity among the outsiders of running. We toe the line together — side by side on the trail, in the streets, or on the track. Different lives merge into one motion, one voice, one force. Alone we may be misfits, but together we are The Crew.

The Good Fight

The "The Good Fight" design, created by Gustavo Ikeda in 2023, is a call to persistence and integrity. In running, as in life, the struggle is never against others but always within ourselves — against fatigue, doubt, and the urge to quit. To choose the good fight means to embrace the hardship, to rise with every setback, and to keep moving forward with dignity. It is a reminder that every step we take is part of something greater than victory: it is proof of character.
