After a long break, we’re shipping to the United States again.

International shipping to the US has become considerably more complicated over the past year, so we didn’t want to switch it back on until we had a setup that actually works reliably. We now ship all US orders with DHL using pDDP (Postal Delivered Duty Paid).

How it works

Shipping to the US is a flat $40, regardless of how many items you order.

For orders of $300 or more, shipping is free.

Any applicable duties and import taxes are calculated and charged directly at checkout. This means you know the total cost before placing your order and shouldn’t receive an additional customs bill when the package arrives.

Delivery usually takes around 8–14 business days.

Why is shipping $40?

We know $40 is a lot of money for shipping. Unfortunately, there is no good way around it right now. In fact, the shipping fee doesn’t even fully cover our own costs for sending a package to the US.

Going back to cheaper services that don’t handle customs properly isn’t something we want to do. Packages getting stuck at customs, unexpected fees on delivery or orders being returned to Germany would be worse for everyone involved.

Our recommendation

If you’re ordering from the US, larger orders make considerably more sense.

If you’ve been thinking about picking up a few pieces, combining them into one order means you only pay the $40 shipping once. And once your order reaches $300, we cover the shipping completely.

The same goes for ordering together with friends, your running crew or anyone else who wants something from Willpower. A shared order is currently the easiest way to make US shipping much more economical.

We wish there were a cheaper solution. For now, this is the most reliable and transparent way we can offer US shipping again.

And most importantly: The US is open again.
