It's been a while since we opened our innermost collective, the Willpower Athletes, to a new member. This happens very rarely, and the circumstances are not always clear. Not even to us. However, after sharing another truly unforgettable running experience, we knew he belonged. 

Please welcome our new Willpower Athlete, David Rott.

David is an actor by profession. As a runner, though, he is anything but an actor. He is as real as it gets. He embodies the full range of raw emotions that running can evoke. We've seen him laugh, cry, fail, and triumph. He has been sky-high and utterly devastated in our presence. No matter what running does to him, one thing is certain: it will never let him go.

Welcome, David. You were already one of us before any of us realized it.
