Dear everyone,
in this last message of 2020 we do not want to point out how strange and rough this year was. Much more we want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. Everyone fought their own struggle and yet still running united us under the banner of Willpower. It truly means a lot to us, that this brand has become such an important beacon to so many people, including ourselves.
As a company, Willpower made big steps forward this year, despite doing things very differently. You might not know this, but Willpower was not founded on a sophisticated business plan, or extensive seed capital (in fact Willpower kicked off with the mind blowing initial investment of 500€). Furthermore we never took classic measures of expansion and gaining market share. And we were and still are proud of every product we created, no matter if it sells 50 or 5000 times. In other words: Willpower was never meant to be a „company“ by traditional standards. All the more we are glad about our growth and increasing impact on the running community.
As soon as you stop focussing products alone and start conveying ideas instead, everything changes. It’s not about you anymore, but about the people who hear, understand and feel your ideas. And that’s exactly what we will keep on doing next year and beyond. Willpower is about making a statement and creating meaningful things. But not for it’ own sake, but for you. Yes, you.
